When it comes to SEO, there are tons of online resources that offer you tips, tricks, methods and strategies. However, if you want someone to actually show you how to design a website that will be search engine friendly, there are not too many places to look at. In this video, Chris Hornak takes his marker and designs a simple but search engine optimized website on the whiteboard. He lays out the basic html elements that any design should include and he explains how each of them is treated by search engines. He also goes back in time when tables where used for designing pages and CSS wouldn’t exist. “That was a SEO nightmare” he says.
